Truckin' Along

First things first... THE TRUCK CAKE!!! This was the most intricate piece of eatable art I have ever seen! Not only did it look ridiculously realistic, it even had tiny headlights and number plate!! I may, or may not, have become slightly over-excited by this red and blue piece of awesome!! Check out the Facebook page to get a look at it! As for the rest of the day?  One word. Stunning! Nina absolutely shined in her gorgeous gown, with it's beaded bodice sending sparkles of light left, right, and centre. Her bridesmaids complimented the colour scheme beautifully, with royal blue gowns, and diamanté details. The boys didn't scrub up too bad either, however I will not miss having to...

Three Legged Friends

I knew when Cas and Stephen told me that their fur-babies were going to be involved in their wedding day, that we were going to get along just fine. And be involved, they were! With tiny little suits to strut their stuff, these two tiny groomsmen were the stars of the show. I must admit to falling ever so slightly in love with Tri, the three legged pooch.  The day was bubbling to the brim with laughter, cuddles, and love. As always, Sandalford Estate did not disappoint, and provided an absolutely beautiful setting for Cas and Stephen to say 'I do'.  The weather threatened to rain us in, but with gumboots, umbrellas, and jumpers in tow, brave it we did,...

Sun, Sand, and a Stunning Soiree

Jessica and Kadon tied the knot at Rendezvous Hotel on Scarborough Beach. The couple, along with their gorgeous bridal party, had hired the top floor suite, and the ladies had a absolutely beautiful view from their balcony, as they were primped and pampered to perfection.  Despite the boys not being versed on how to tie their ties (Nicola Anne Designs - photographer, and stylist ;) ), and a minor wardrobe malfunction for one the bridesmaids, this group stepped out onto the pool deck in style. The bridesmaids wore a rich navy blue, which complimented the bride's colouring beautifully. The boys looked sharp in their waistcoats, and the folded sleeves gave the ensemble a casual, beachy, vibe.  Following the ceremony, the...

The West Coast for a Westie

Have you ever been to Penrith Panthers Leagues Club? I have. I used to run around the arcade floor when I was a child, with a bucket full of tokens and a giant cup of orange juice (that I am now completely confident never contained a single orange), feeling like a total gangster, and wondering if everyone on the floor thought I was one independent woman of the Doogie Houser variety, or if they, in fact, knew I was only 6. I am guessing it was the latter.  Turns out, that the bride in this love story, was also running around that same arcade. Unbeknown to either of us at the time of her choosing her wedding photographer, we went...

Straight Out of Austen

It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. - Jane Austen I don't know much about Jack's fortune, but I know that he has found himself one amazing, and absolutely beautiful wife! Jack and Amy's big day at Quarry Farm looked as though it had fallen straight out of a Jane Austen novel. It was classic, intimate, and had an old-world charm about it that I haven't seen matched in quite some time.  The only things that didn't fit in to the romance novel, were the ugg boots and flano worn by the bride as she prepped, and the 4WD that delivered Amy to the...
