It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.
- Jane Austen
I don't know much about Jack's fortune, but I know that he has found himself one amazing, and absolutely beautiful wife!
Jack and Amy's big day at Quarry Farm looked as though it had fallen straight out of a Jane Austen novel. It was classic, intimate, and had an old-world charm about it that I haven't seen matched in quite some time.
The only things that didn't fit in to the romance novel, were the ugg boots and flano worn by the bride as she prepped, and the 4WD that delivered Amy to the ceremony - although the car was dolled up with white ribbons, so it does earn a few extra points regardless.
Following the ceremony, I stole the bridal party away for a few hours. The grounds seemed never ending, and were full of hidden treasures, which we wasted no time in exploring, as the newly weds took a stroll through laneways, abandoned shearing sheds, and sunburnt fields.
The rammed earth building that housed the reception glittered with glassware and fairy lights, adding some fairytale feels to this Austen-esque affair.
This lovely Miss Bennett, has definitely found her perfect Mr Darcy.
A huge congratulations to you both - it was an absolute pleasure to be part of your day. I wish you both a lifetime of laughter, love, and cuddles!
